markets ! baby tortoises!

It's been a while since I've done a post so i apologise for the delay.A couple of weeks ago some people came and looked round the garden we live in.As i had nothing else to do i followed them round the garden.(shh don't tell any one ;-) !)

A couple of days a go we went to the lent Cascine market.This was a bit tough going seen as I'd hurt my leg on one of the stone steps in our house,but we got there,eventually!As it was a special market it was extra large,well it wasn't but it felt and looked it!For some reason some one was selling animals,budgies,fish,hamsters and even,for some reason,baby tortoises!There is a picture of the size of one at the top of this section.Because this is Italy they were not called tortoises they were called "tartaruga" although they were only eight euros we didn't get one because we wouldn't know how to look after one,and it would probably run away,which wouldn't be very good!
