spain pics

i forgot,in Spain the are cats:

Panda

mum cat

posh paws (who has gone missing) because of...

sox (he's HUGE,and nasty to other tom cats)

And then there are 7 kittens,we think there's now only 4. They were named after the seven dwarfs, but the names didn't suit their personalities,so their names were changed. Their names are: Basher, George(curious george), Dolly and Gabby (Dolce and Gabbana).

Oh,and
the tiger at the zoo.

Spain

The villa is quite large and squarish, with several rooms. We were staying downstairs, with the kitchen, living room and main living quarters being upstairs. The villa is surrounded by terraces, with the main one down the hill, which the villa is on, looking down on to a spectacular view of Fuengirola and the Mediterranean.

Below this terrace, set into the hill, is a pool. The pool has a small slide on the side, which drops off into the air, then into the pool. Hidden by a shed are some li-lows. While I slid off the slide onto one of the li-lows,my sister floated about on another, sitting up, playing with some plastic buckets and spades, whilst wearing a floaty jacket.

Surrounding the villa are avocado trees, orange trees, olive trees and other fruit bearing trees. To get to the groves of oranges, we had to walk along a long road lined with olive trees, almond trees, prickly pears and lights with wooden covers that look like voodoo skulls. When we got to the oranges, which took about five minutes, we saw lots of trees bearing grapefruits and oranges. The floor had more fruit than most of the trees together, although most of those on the floor were blackened and rotten. The oranges on the trees, when picked, were warm. When I went with my dad and my sister we didn't get that many, but when I went with my mum we got lots more.

When not at the villa we were generally at the beach with the two-man kayak we have in Spain. Kayaking is quite hard, for me any way, especially when you are fighting against waves and a weird current. After kayaking for a bit I would jump out and find stones and shells and catch fish with my hands, then let the fish go. The sand at the beach is good for making sand castles and digging a meter into the ground. After having fun on the sand, we went into a cafe and had fish, with chips(!).

We also went to a harbour called Puerto Banus. At Puerto Banus there are lots of nice big yachts and smaller boats, all tied up. Some had families eating and playing on them. Parked up on the street were several nice cars, including: a Ferrari, a Hummer, an Aston Martin and a Bentley.

In Spain there is a theme park called Tivoli World

We are returning there on the 27th and I hope to do all the same stuff again!

There is a new games workshop opened near us! Which means that there is a shop about 5 minutes away that sells warhammer! Cool!

I collect these guys.

This ones my favourite. Mainly because I've got him. He's called Azhag the Slaughterer. Nice name.

Garden day

There is a society called "ASSOCIAZIONE DIMORE STORICHE ITALIANE SEZIONE TOSCANA" (the sites in Italian, use Google translate or something) which, look after the private gardens in Tuscany, sort of like The National Trust, except that the gardens are only open at specific times of the year.

It was a nice warm morning and the groups where going round all ready going round.Luckily the previous day we had been fore-warned that people would be going round all day long, but even so,it was still a bit of a surprise when groups seemed to vary from 20 to (seemingly)100rds of people!

It was like being in a zoo,as they kept taking pictures of our house, like they where taking photos of a bats cave or something. The reason our garden,1 of 24 in Florence, was open was because once a year ADSI (see ↑) makes sure gardens such as the one we're in are open,on a sort of open day.As our garden wasn't the only one open,we decided to go to"Giardino Corsi Annalena".

It was nice, and very formal, the sort of garden that has been planned for people to look round.Quite allot of the garden was peoples houses, which blocked off bits of the garden, making it feel vastly small. There was a wall overlooking the road, and we could see straight into part of our garden!

After finishing looking round the garden,we went back to our house.By this time our garden had closed for the day,and was quite outside the gates.Later that evening, the last tour came round. It was a formal one,you could tell by the way that they were wearing suits and stuff.I just hope that they hadn't been wearing the suits all day,as it had been hot!

My birthday

On the 21 April, it was my birthday:
I woke up properly and proceeded downstairs. Not wishing to wake Antonia,I decided against going out in the garden on my new bike. After she had woken up she sleepily sung me happy birthday, then gave me my birthday card, which had been hand made by my mum and sister, which had pictures of bikes and stuff on. Then I went whizzing up and down the garden on my bike.

This is my bike,it has 21 gears, and front suspension. The body of the bike itself is red at the front, and blue at the back. The handle bars are black.
This is another picture of my bike.

My sister can't resist a photo. This is me and her on our bikes.

While I was on my bike,my mum and dad made a breakfast of soft-boiled eggs with bread soldiers.I had 2 eggs, and they where both really tasty.
Following breakfast,I got my second present,a punch bag and gloves, which was really cool.

The Tortoise that we found (a)turns out to be a boy and (b) is wild! Unfortunately because he was wild,he ran away and hid in some ivy under a bush, and we couldn't find him again ;-(
It was so hot that day,i spent most of my time hiding in the shade B-).
Part way through the day my dad went out to rent a bike. When he returned, me and him went out cycling around the city. We got to a square, and it was full of Lamborghini, red ones, orange ones, white ones, black ones,it was so cool!

There was about 20 of them, so there was about £2 million worth of car! After finishing looking at the cars,we cycled to one of the city's gates Porta Romana, and got some rope for my punch bag. After we finished cycling,we went home, and my dad returned his bike. When he returned,we all went out back up to Porta Romana and got a tub of ice-cream. As it was so hot me and my mum had a cup of ice-cream,my sister had a cone, and my dad pinched some of ours. Walking home we ate our ice-cream.When we got home my mum got tea on and I went around the garden a few times on my bike. Tea was lasagna, and it was really tasty.

This is a picture of me,my dad and my sister.

Following the lasagna was my birthday cake(which was actually the ice-cream). On top of it where 12 candles, and 4 chocolate filled balls.

The tub had 3 different flavours in: chocolate, cream of orange, and pear and apple cheese cake.My favourite was the orange. All the ice-cream was hand-made!After nearly finishing the ice-cream,me,my mum and my dad sat on the bed, with popcorn, and watched "The Fifth Element".
